Tren Bidang Information Science Research dalam Jurnal pada Google Scholar (2019-2024)
Abstrak
Ilmu informasi telah berkembang dari pengelolaan informasi menjadi pendekatan multidisiplin yang mencakup pengelolaan, analisis, dan komunikasi data, didukung oleh peningkatan data digital dan kebutuhan strategi manajemen informasi yang efektif. Bidang ini membantu mengatasi tantangan modern, memungkinkan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data dan komunikasi yang lebih baik. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode statistika dan matematika untuk mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan memahami data bibliografi yang terkait dengan artikel dan jurnal. Peneliti menggunakan VOSviewer untuk memvisualisasikan dan menganalisis jaringan bibliometrik, yang mencakup hubungan kutipan, penggabungan bibliografi, kutipan, atau kerjasama penulis. Dasar teori informasi modern dibangun oleh Claude Shannon dan Alan Turing. Analisis tren penelitian Information Science Research (ISR) menunjukkan penurunan publikasi dari tahun 2019 hingga 2024, dari 173 artikel pada 2019 menjadi hanya 4 artikel pada 2024. Dari total 500 artikel, 93,20% ditulis secara kolaboratif. Data menunjukkan bahwa penelitian di ISR erat kaitannya dengan penulisan artikel ilmiah di bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi.
