KARAKTER CITRA ARSITEKTURAL DAN DESKRIPSI TEMPAT WISATA BERBASIS PERSEPSI SWAFOTO
Abstrak
Tempat wisata swafoto (selfie) mulai menarik perhatian wisatawan dan media massa sejak tahun 2015. Titik foto merupakan daya tarik utama dari tempat wisata swafoto. Titik foto memiliki bentuk beragam, namun pada umumnya merujuk pada benda dan tempat yang sudah lebih dulu terkenal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap karakter citra arsitektural, inspirasi bentuk atau suasana dari titik foto, dan persepsi atas titik foto tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian metode campuran (mixed methods research) yang terdiri dari tahap kualitatif dan tahap kuantitatif. Pada tahap kualitatif, data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode qualitative content analysis (QCA) dari 15 tayangan dari media sosial berbasis video serta dianalisis dengan gabungan metode QCA dan open coding untuk mengungkap karakter citra arsitektural dan deskripsi persepsi titik foto. Pada tahap kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner daring dan dianalisis menggunakan principal component analysis (PCA) serta factor analysis (FA). Kegiatan penelitian menemukan titik foto tempat wisata swafoto memiliki karakter citra arsitektural berupa referensi tampilan asing dan tampilan romantis. Temuan lain kegiatan penelitian adalah persepsi atas titik foto tersebut dideskripsikan sebagai bentuk menarik dan bentuk harfiah.
