PERAN KELUARGA TERHADAP PENCEGAHAN NARKOBA USIA REMAJA DI DESA LANGKURA KECAMATAN TURATEA KABUPATEN JENEPONTO
Abstrak
Drug abuse by teenagers is a serious problem because drugs can damage the future of teenagers. The younger generation is a strategic target for drug dealers. Serious handling needs to be done, especially by parents. The role of the family is needed in the context of preventing drug abuse. Parents and family are the closest environments that can influence children's behavior. Children see their parents as their figures and in the end, they will imitate the behavior of their parents. This research is field research with qualitative research type, so this research will focus on Family Efforts Against Teenage Drug Prevention in Langkura Village, Turatea District, Jeneponto Regency. In carrying out research in accordance with the science of logic by using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was also carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of verification/conclusion. The results of the study explain that the role of the family in preventing adolescent drug use in Langkura Village, Turatea District, Jeneponto Regency is very important in protecting adolescents from drug abuse. The role of parents in question ranges from 1) Religious and Moral Education, 2) Guidance and attention, 3) Providing freedom with strict supervision, and 4) Providing Positive Activities for Teenagers. The obstacles experienced by the family towards the Prevention of Drugs at the Adolescent Age in Langkura Village, Turatea District, Jeneponto Regency 1) Environmental Factors (Children's Association), 2) Drug Dependence Effects, 3) Feeling stressed and uneasy when seeing people who use drugs or drugs.
