Peran Dakwah Komunitas Peduli Anak Jalanan (KPAJ) dalam Pembinaan Akhlak Anak di Jalan Kerung-Kerung Kota Makassar

Abstrak

In its implementation, Da'wah needs special attention in dealing with the problems that exist in society, particularly on how to effectively carry out Da'wah to street children. This is where KPAJ plays a bigger role by carrying out its preaching and inviting people through real actions. The purpose of this research is to determine the form of Da'wah applied by KPAJ in fostering children's morals, as well as the activities carried out by KPAJ to achieve this on Jalan Kerung-Kerung, Makassar City. The results of this study indicate that KPAJ carries out Da'wah in fostering children's morals on Jalan Kerung-Kerung, Makassar City through the methods of mauidzah (advice), exemplification, and habituation. The activities carried out by KPAJ include closing the street children's genitals, memorization, and Islamic studies. The implication of this research is that KPAJ's administrators hope to remain consistent in fostering street children in each of their target areas. They should not be discouraged from guiding street children towards noble character, both towards Allah and their family and environment. For street children in the Kerung-Kerung target area, it is hoped that they will remain enthusiastic about learning and not be discouraged by their economic situation, remembering to worship and never becoming bored with receiving guidance from the senior management of KPAJ.
